I've been averaging between 6.6-6.9L/100kms (so 34-36mpg) since purchasing my manual Fit Sport. My daily commute to work is 115kms round trip, exactly 50% city, 50% highway. I'm not trying to win a race, and I'm not the slowest car out there.
Once I hit 6.1 (38.5mpg) on a highway trip, and worst was 7.3 (32.2mpg) when stuck in traffic for a few hours, in the pouring rain with the AC on and then driving a bit aggressively to make up some lost time.
So far, I'm quite happy with my average. We'll see what happens this winter.
