Insurance does not work that way. Each car gets a rating, and each driver gets a rating. Then cars are matched with drivers (not necessarily the driver of the car). Everyone in the house is rated as is every car. Some agencies will do there best to lower costs by mixing the youngest driver with the oldest car however some companies require the youngest driver to be rated on either the newest or most expensive car.

There is a lot more than goes into the monthly cost and the cars rating is only a small portion of it.
