Man I seem to be the odd man out here. I'm 37, live in CT and pay $571.00 for one full year of insurance on my 2007 FIT Sport AT.
My coverages are:
-$250,000 bodily injury each person
-$500,000 bodily injury each accident
-$100,000 property damage
-$5,000 medical each person
-$250,000 & $500,000 repectively for uninsured/underinsured motorist
Breakdown of the premium is as follows:
-$142.00 Collision
-$212.00 Bodily injury split limits
-$109.00 Property damage per accident
-$13.00 Other than collison w or w/o glass
-$15.00 Medical payments
-$21.00 Opt limits of rental transportation ($30.00 per day / $900.00 total)
-$59.00 UM/UIM
I use an independant insurance agent who placed me with a company based out of Boston called One Beacon. One Beacon is an "A" rated provider, rated by AM Best.
I also have my wife's 2007 CR-V on the policy which is $558.00 for one full year, my homeowners policy which runs $576.00 including $20,000 in scheduled valuables and a $1,000,000 umbrella policy that runs an additional $155.00 for the year.
