Only the tires overall diameter is giving him problems. Go with what I suggested above, try same width tire but lower sidewall ratio, 50 or 45.

I don't think it's the diameter that causing the problem. I think it's the width of tires. I'm still within 3% of the original diameter of the stock 14" alloys. I'll just use up my tires then I'll switch to 185/55/R15 and see if this helps.
