Back in the day I had a 1998 CCivic SOHC VTEC w/ Jackson Racing Supercharger and the torque converter held up fine and without a tranny cooler. However, I have always used Motul Dexron III tranny fluid.
After the first day of driving everything feels GREAT! =) As for the tranny holding up, my initial reaction is that it should be fine given the technoligical advances from my 98 civic auto tranny. the intercooler and lastly regular tranny fluid changes. For a lot of track use, you may then want to invest in a tranny cooler. I do recommend upgrading your tranny fluid because it made a huge difference in the driveability even before the turbo was installed.
Oh and btw thats my car in the pics.
Hope this helps.

Do i gotta install a tranny cooler to make things better, maybe upgrade the tranny fluid? I want my tranny 2 last as long as possible w/o damage. I don't care if i have 2 change my tranny fluid the same time with my oil changes to keep my tranny life as high as possible. Amazing kit btw!
