Good Tire Shop in So Cal?

Good Tire Shop in So Cal?

Hey all,

Hoping some fellow FitFreak's who live in So.Cal. know of a good tire/rim shop.

I just bought Konig Heliums from C2Auto and my original plan was to use my stock tires and place em on the new rims. I called around and the price quote I got was $25.00/tire to swap out the rims. Plus an additional $12.00/tire to balance. That's about $148.00 just for a tire/balance swap. I'm thinking this is too expensive and just wondering if anyone knew of a good store that does the work for cheaper.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

i took mine to a little tire shop in fontana they charged me $70 to mount and balance 4 tires that i took in

That's seriously retarded, it shouldn't cost that much. I just bought new tires and I too am looking for a good shop to mount and balance. I'm looking around too. I'll let you know if I find a good deal.

btw, I have 24,000 miles on my car and tires are just about bald all the way around. Anyone else have this issue?

I just went to one of those big chain stores since it was close to my house. Try America's Tire Co. (Google it). They charged me around $25 to balance all four tires plus mounting to the car. The tires were already mounted to the wheels so I can't give you price on that.

Ended up going to Big O Tires off Beach and Yorktown. They charged me $60.00 for mounting and balancing so that wasn't too bad.

la puente tires, theyd charge u around 50-60. if u know where that is let me know, we get good prices at the shop i work at.

Glad u got em finally installed. Was that $60 for taking the tires off the stock wheels n mounting them to the new ones and balancing them? Hurry up n go take some pix!!

Yah $60 for everything so I'm stoked. Pics coming up soon gotta wash the car first .

Big O tires charges $12 per wheel. Mounting is free but balancing is $12.
