2003 accord speedometer light
Does anyone know how to replace a bulb behind any of the gages? Are the
lights LED's or the common 194 bulbs you can get anywhere? I attempted
to dis-assemble the gages last weekend and the needles prevented me
from accessing the inside of the cluster. i dont want to break my
needles but i want to see whats under there! do the needles pull off or
is there a screw? Thanks people...

Why not ask your dealer to fax over the exploded view of the cluster, or
look at online pictures? Every Honda I've seen has a removable holder
that the bulb slips into. They are removed by rotating a 1/4 turn
counter-clockwise, and are removed from the BACKSIDE of the cluster.
Other than slipping the cluster out toward you, you shouldn't have to
'dis-assemble' anything. Be aware there are backlights, as well as front
lights, in the overhang of the cluster. Put your head on the floormat
and look up, to be sure which you need.

Re: 2003 accord speedometer light
Thanks for replying. I actually called Penske Honda today, and the only
view they had was of the cluster itself, nothing to do with the
assembly of it.
I have been searching online for pics/tutorials for almost a solid
month now. (i guess my google-ing skills arent the greatest? ;) So far
ive gotten a few ideas from a honda/acura forum, but not many people
have done this with the '03-'05 accords.
I am positive it is not a front light though. I'll try some of the
stuff you mentioned and let you know how it goes.. thanks.

That dash is WAY different than any of the older ones ! ! Suggest you
should ask the dealer about the availability of the bulbs . . He might
say they aren't replaceable (soldeder-in). ? ?

Doesn't the 2003 Accord have LED lighting for the instrument cluster?
