Thumbs up 2009 Door Edge Guard on 2008! A-OK...

Took a chance and purchased the 2009 door edge guards for my 2008 Base.

They work.

i think its a great idea to do the engine swap to the new one, im deffinatly doing it because no one that i know of make aftermarket a cam for the fit but the new one probably will.

Any word on if it's going to bolt right up or not? I won't be able to sleep at night until I know for sure......
so u would want to change out the whole tranny (with good 2 and 3) because it MIGHT last longer???

why don't u just wait for 2 and 3 to break (probably never will unless u totally abuse it) THEN replace the tranny?

spending more money on preventative maintenance than on actual repairs makes no sense to me

The new head with it's ''Real'' VTEC... Yes!! Integrated Manifold... ...nop!!

and why I-VTEC?? Does it have Variable Valve timing...?? To me it's sounds just like the VTEC of a good 'ol D16... actuated on the intake valves only...

Marko!!

Why buy a vanity mirror for the GE8 when you can get one that is made for the GD1-GD3 ?
I have vanity mirror on both drivers and passenger side original on the car from the factory. And yes I have a Jazz, but the part should be more compatible Jazz GD3 vs Fit GD3 than Fit GE8 vs Fit GD1-GD3...
