Yes indeed, a '70 Commando. Powder coated frame, modified roadster seat, polished alloys, custom straight pipes. My interpretation of a Norton bobber, without drastically modifying the frame.

Anyone thought about the AMC Pacer as one of the ugliest cars?
Hell, yeah! The Pacer was a car ahead of its time. That time still hasn't arrived. I don't think AMC ever made a good looking car.
Cars that make you think, "Why?"
AMC Pacer
Volkswagen "Thing"
Mustang II
That weird Maserati one
Mercedes G500
Porsche 914 - it always looked like it was driving backwards
I had a 67 750 Royal Enfield Interceptor 2 Trumpets and 4 Beezers, but never got around to Nortons. 4 guys that I road with did and they liked them a lot. The 750s were a bit faster than the electric start 850s.

I pretty much agree except for the AMX. I think it was the only decent car they made.
My dad was an American Motors "enthusiast". He owned 5 Rambler Americans, including 2 station wagons, and an Ambassador. I had a Javelin in high school, but it was not an AMX.

My sister had a SCRambler and it kicked butt. I'll see if I can find a photo of one.
We had a push-button automatic Rambler station wagon and I loved that car. It would have been sweet to learn to drive in, but by then we had a '67 Dodge Dart.
Here's a webpage with photos. My sister's was red white and blue but not with the large red stripe...It was made by Hurst I believe, and only the one year. 1969

I don't even remember that car...must have been the decade I was drinking.... ROFL just kidding. But I don't remember it. Do you have better wheels than those? They look like a star fish all stretched out.
