Ugliest Vehicle since AMC Gremlin.

Look, I know it's politically incorrect, but I saw my first '09 today. I had a rear view of this white vehicle that said "Fit" on the back. My first thought was that it was a non-Sport (without the spoiler), but when I drove closer, it indeed had a spoiler. It had black rain gutters running down the roof, and wondered whether I had missed that same feature on my Fit. I drove around it. When I saw that "hook nose" from the side I knew what it was.

I have to break the ice here. You guys know what I mean. That is one ugly a$$ vehicle. In fact, I might even trade mine in for a Mazda 3 now.

Honda got a little too much into engineering, and forgot about aesthetics.

They are pretty ugly cars in my opinion. But I do not even think they are that ugly. And who said the Gremlin was even ugly? Get to love each persons taste I guess.

My nomination for ugly axe cars

#1 - Pontiac Aztek. One of the most hideous designs for a car ever. Also poor design for driving. Like a toaster on wheels.

#2 - Honda Insight - epic fail of design, but props for being the first hybrid. Honda will bring back the Insight name for its new hybrid.

#3 - Infinity FX - what IS this car? Is it an SUV? Is it a car? It has squinty head AND taillights and looks like the meanest boss you ever had.

Them's my top 3 - what are yours?

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. The allure of the Fit has always been it's so dorky it becomes cool. Well, that and you get a lot of bang for your buck.

I'm sort of shocked I haven't seen many new '09 Fits on the road here. Seems the '08 took off in popularity right when gas started climbing. I went from being the only one in a Fit on the freeway to driving in a damn flock of them. But I have yet to see the new model in action on the road. Strange...

Cross-over, eh? Screw-up, IMO. Epic fail of looks. And then people put gigantic rims on them and they look like a freaking Conestoga wagon...

You must be kidding, right. The new Fit looks much better. I guess each is entitled to their opinion.

I actually like the design of the Insight, Juliane lol I wanted one in that yellowish-green but even at 5+ years old they are too expensive...

the new fit isn't THAT bad. sure, i prefer the GD3 styling, but come on, there are pleanty of other cars that are not nearly as good.
and why would you trade your '08 for a Mazda3? because the '09s are not to your taste? that doesn't even make any sense.

i think the hyundai tiburon should be on the top 3 ugliest cars:

hummm... that's werd. im not a fan of the FX, but i think they look
pretty good. i like the new one better cause it looks like a mean looking
animal in a cute way..watever that means. like a whale or a shark
or something.

if it had a tad more utility i would consider getting one...and pet it every
morning before going to work.
