Knocking sound

hey freaks,

i don't know if anyone can diagnose this problem for me.

when i accelerate then depress the gas pedal i'm getting a "klunking" sound near the driver's side or possibly the center of the car maybe coming from the engine bay. it's sort of a pop-klunk? i don't get the noise during regular acceleration just when i ease into first gear, when i remove my foot from the gas pedal at traffic speed, and step on the brake. i only first heard this noise today during my drive home from work and i only hear it when the radio is off - any ideas?

i don't know if this could be related but i did just get a wheel alignment last friday, and this was my first real opportunity to drive my Fit besides the drive home from the alignment shop. did the person aligning my car forget to tighten something that might be causing this sound?

thanks in advance

it was actually a number of things:
• loose lug nuts (doh - it happens)
• loose end link (top nut)
• loose spring lock (on skunk2 coilovers)
• loose top lock nut - i don't really know what it's called, it's the 19mm nut in the engine bay

i don't know how they all wiggled themselves loose, i'm going to have to check them again after two weeks of driving. hope this helps anyone
