I like symetrical cars, the whole wrap-around window on the passender side only looks retarded.

I think the Cube will be taking on the Honda Element crowd rather than the Fit group.

The cube is pretty cool, but I cant see myself in a nissan. I like how they got creative with the puddle effect in cupholders, headliner, speakers, and the gauges being like moon and earth.

2nd gen cube is better.

Looks arent too bad, but Holy Crap is that thing as unaerodynamic as a design could be?

Would have to get disappointing MPG above 60 mph
Even the sucked in side windows are an aerodynamic no-no!

The available 6SPD is a good plus.. and also the tach is as big as the speedo which is also great.. on the fit its as tiny as the gas gauge...

but the jdm cubes looked so much better, when i was out in japan i liked them a lot, but over here they look like old school USPS mail trucks.

WinterGE8 is an unknown quantity at this point
seriously???

Strange that many GD3 owners would like that piece of rubbish (cardboard box with windows, anyone) and not like the GE8. I would definitely rather purchase a Scion xB than the Nissan piece of throwback rubbish. At least the xB look modern and not like a 1950s box car gone wrong.

coupdetat is on a distinguished road
It's pretty cool, I'm glad Nissan is picking up where Scion left off.

Fit Nutt will become famous soon enough
What's the MSRP going to be? I like it. I had an 05 xB and loved the boxy styling. I really like the reclining and slide feature of the Cube's rear seats. My girls would love that feature. They are still giving me crap about selling the "Box". I love my Fit too, but I just can't seem to get comfortable in the driver's seat. Steering wheel is too far forward when the seat is adjusted back for my long legs.

I've seen this in Tokyo before. Its even uglier in person. Its a large warped tissue box. I haven't been inside one, but I can imagine that the visibility is horrible.

i'd rather have a GD3 but i really like the Cube, it looks unique, i don't really compare it to xB 1st gen, it looks so different from that when you really look at it....

Personally I think it's cute. lol.

Leave it to Japan if you want to try something new and quirky. I can see myself driving a cube....

....with Work Equip 02s or 03s with a nasty offset, coilovers that dump it to the floor, some sort of window visors, a dainty roof rack, and a sleek lip kit. That's the only way I'd drive it

I'd drive one, or a SexBox... I just love xb's.

But then I'm one for the toaster aesthetic, if they still made the older xB's right now I prolly would have gotten one instead of a fit

The first generation Scion xB was a great car. I test drove an '06 and while it's not sporty, the room and driving feel were awesome. The center gauges are a turn-off, but they were close enough it wasn't too weird.

Dealer didn't want to work with me on pricing though.

The rear seats don’t fold down flush with the rear storage area, it’s just a big step like in the Versa. It would be cool if the Fit had power folding rear seats "Giggity Giggity, alright"

Definitely a cool - quirky looking ride. I saw it arriving at the Nissan dealership and it will be interesting to see it in action on the highway. Nissan has always had the edge on design over Toyota IMO. Never liked the XB myself. If the Cube would have been on sale when I was considering the Fit - it would have also been a consideration. Honda does have that shining reputation of reliability though...no regrets on being a proud daddy to my baby Fit. Perhaps in 6 years I will consider the cube -should it be around and be just as cute.
