so it's 100% for the uk version (only 2004)
NOT 100% for usdm
try not using fancy math jargon like "100%".....instead just state that it worked on YOUR car not every car in the universe and let the reader come to there on conclusions
sooo if you have seats and a steering wheel, does this keep the light off?
No, this'll just reset the light. If you're still missing the airbag, the light will come right back on.

Sure . . . if you don't mind doing this procedure every time you want to drive your car.
If you remove an airbag and want to keep the warning light from coming on, you need to trick the computer into thinking the airbag is still there. So take a multimeter and measure the resistance for the airbag that you've disconnected. Then go to radioshack and find a resistor that matches - and use that resistor to trick the computer into thinking there's still an airbag there.
Please note: I'm not advocating doing this, just saying that if you wanted to, that's how you'd go about it. Playing around with a multi-meter around an airbag can be DANGEROUS.

As far as I know, this is standard procedure for resetting the airbag light in every Honda that has them . . .
