How to reset Oil Maintenance Minder Light

Hello gents! I recently changed my oil however I noticed that the maintenance minder oil light didn't reset. Also the oil life gauge didn't go back to 100%. If anybody could share how to reset this I would appreciate it very much. I have searched on the forum already and I couldn't find an answer.

Happy Driving.

Jon

The instructions are in your owner's manual starting on page 182. It is very easy, just a few steps.

I think it tells you how in the owners manual but here it is from my memory.

1. press the button/dimmer knob on the instrument panel until oil life is displayed.
2. hold down the button until the oil life starts to flash
3. release button.
4. hold button down again until oil life reverts back to 100%

I posted the instructions on my blog a while back. This is one thing I like about the car. Honda made it very easy to reset the service light.
