maintenance minder reset questions

1) The manual talks about resetting the "oil life display". Does this reset the entire maintenance minder (ie. if it said B2 for example)?

2) If you reset the oil life display at say 90%, does it start over at 100% or does it need to get to 15% first? This may seem like a silly question, but if one is using synthetic oil, this might be a useful feature.

Thanks again

I love this forum

to reset the oil reminder just go to the percent and hold the knob down for like ten secs then it'll start to blink let go and hold it again till it resets. to reset the maintenance reminder go to b2 and hold down and it will reset to zero.
