Exclamation 2007 Fit Sport suggestions

GD3.

soo im fairly new with the whole modification of cars.. always been the college student that needs a car to get to school and back. but now i got alot of extra cash that i decided to put into my fit. i just dont know where to start with my fit. i was looking through alot of websites and ran into intakes, exhaust systems, etc etc. my car is pretty much stock. ill post pictures tomorrow when i get home from class. like the title says its a 2007 Black Fit sport. 1.5 vtec auto.

any suggestions what i should do? btw i have my spending limit of 3 grand. would anyone be kind enough to post some good names and brands for my car.

Depends on what your into or want to do. Most people here usually just do wheel/tires, lower, short ram/cold air intake, and maybe an axle back and/or JDM tails.

Ah, so you want the blacked out approach. Well generally with the wheels if you are don't want to rub a ET +42 (offset) is usually recommended; however, I am still at stock ride height and my rim's dimensions are 15 x 6.5 ET +40 and I do not rub at all even with aggressive driving or heavy loads. If you plan on lowering there are plenty of springs to choose from companies like Tanabe, Skunk 2, Progress, J's Racing, Tein, and more.

The intake may more than likely end up being a short ram because the cold air tube is too long on the majority of them. There is however one cold air intake for the AT Fit, but I do not know the name nor know if it is carb legal. Axle backs, or exhaust period, is a matter of personal taste; some like it loud and raspy, others may like it sweet and mellow.

Here is a link to several part websites for Fits.

Also, skim around the site to get some ideas on what you'd like to do for your Fit. Members like Kelsodeez, TOOL, and TrancedSailor have/had some sweet NHBP GD3s on here that may have something that'll catch your eye.
