Oh... and I found the video I'll try and upload it with my slow laptop. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.
Yeah the lip would serve more of a look function then aero. That's why it wouldn't be worth ipthe investment to me.

I am slowly piecing together my Fit. Bought a mugen front lip, sport rear lip, carbon fiber rear diffuser and an HKS axleback. So close yet so far.

After the track went cold we went to go get it and the lip was inside the bush.... or what was left of it. Totally sucked.

This was not today but on August 23, 2014 showed my baby in our last and final show. This was a large show with nearly 200 vehicles showing. Won a Top 75 trophy and pulled as Best Tuner. I will never forget showing in my first show in 2009 and getting the Best Tuner award. Called my Mom as I was leaving the show and said, Hey we won Best Tuner to which my Mom said, " I don't know what that means - is that good?" This time when I called to say, Mom we won Best Tuner - she knew exactly what that meant! It has been a ton of fun out showing the Fit and getting to see peoples faces when they state - they did not know Honda made such a car or that you could modify them. Now time for me and the MR to just enjoy the fun of driving and getting older together. It was an awesome journey and 32 trophies later just so much fun.

Congrats man, that's awesome. Do you have a thread on here to check out the car?

If you turn the volume up you can hear them arguing over who is going to win. The bush says "You're mine, Previc!" And then Previc says "Eff you bush! Imma win, but I'll leave my lip so I can come back and finish the job after the race!" And then.... CRASH!

Finally removed the rear FIT emblem

So i finally went ahead and removed the FIT emblem off my rear hatch. Figured i had too many back there(bottom of license plate, top brake light & left side of hatch)

After cleaning it up, you can still see a ghost image of the emblem due to the paint fading

But i think it looks better with out the emblem

use a good polish and some elbow grease and the ghost should go away. that's what it took for mine.

Good thing it didn't claim your intercooler or losen things up to create a vacuum leak.

I took mine off too, but replaced it with the emblem from the new fit. I just like the look of the new fit emblem and I'm actually really happy with how it came out. I also added the "RS" JDM emblem to the other side too, just to give it a few more HP lol ;-)

I did a coolant change and flush today. Also cleaned my battery terminals. Had to remove my 51R battery and my whole intake to get to the reserve tank out. Took several photos. Probably post a DIY for a coolant change and flush. Ran destilled water through the system for the flush. No hose water for me. Calcium deposits no thanks. The only thing I didn't take pics of was filling the coolant or running the car with the header blowing on full. All and all perfect ready for winter.

What?!?! No hose water? No calcium deposits? Lame. Those are what make being a car owner fun! You get to diagnose problems later down the road that take you a week to figure out what the problem is and then once you do you can mf yourself because, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself, and you did so you only have you to blame.

Been doing all my service myself for years. Honda and other mechanics cut corners even on oil changes or spark plugs. I've written an horror story for each on here hahah. People watch me in my driveway dumping a big jug of water in the car. When I do things, I do them right. This took maybe a total of 2.5 hours while working on a buddy's CL with an MDX motor. Only way to do it is proper. 169,000km original owner.

Raced all weekend and it was a good one. Although I beat myself up the worse with my driving I did really good especially being my first year of AutoX. Got my best time of the day on Sunday during the event last run with a 63.8. This is 2 seconds slower then the fastest STF time (the guy is a fast and excellent driver beating STS and SMF times) and about a second slower then his partner (same car).

This week I have some adjustments to do and the fit should see some fastest times before the year is up.
