Which iridium Spark plugs for 1.3L Honda fit i-DSi
Hi all,
Need some help.
Just wanted to know which Iridium spark plugs would suit my honda fit 1.3L CVT.
The denso websites does not have the specs for 1.3L, only for 1.5L it has.
Moreover, with some research, my local retailers suggesting denso IK20 but one
suggested denso IK16, anybody know which is best?
Need some help.

I have been driving in record cold weather for the last week with no complaints...It might take a couple of extra minutes of driving to initially warm the engine but It shouldn't since the ignition will be advancing a little more igniting the fuel sooner so it will burn off sooner in the power stroke... In the old days before Fuel injection and Engine Control Units that constantly monitor the combustion chamber for the slightest hint of pinging and retard it back a bit to prevent it, we would adjust our carburetors as lean as possible for maximum top end power and then pull the plugs to check for blistering on the insulation around the electrode... If we saw blistering we would install a colder plug... With very lean mixtures and the colder plugs we would sometimes have to close the gap a little to be able to get the plug to ignite.... I have to use the plugs with the more narrow gap because of the supercharger and tune on my car but if your car is naturally aspirated and no tuning has been done to it the wider gar will give you a larger spark and last much longer.
