Cheapest solution for a new key

Lost my whole key chain like a week ago. Took lots of time looking for it, came to the conclusion it must have taken a spill off my motorcycle.

What is the best solution for another key but not spending $300. I have my spare key with remote, it needs a battery but that's simple. I would take a key with no remote for now as my spare can this be done. I know my moms pilot has the same type of key with no remote attached not sure if that can be cut and coded for our vehicles.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

Is this just a key and no remote?

Think the dealer charges something like $200 $300 for the remote. $100 isnt so bad even without the remote.
