Intemittant creeking noise
Hello,
When driving, if I open my window, I can hear a creeking noise coming from the front of the car. I suspect it is the driver's side. The sound is intermittent, sometimes it does it and sometimes it is dead quiet.
It is not related to when I brake and has a rhythm consistant with the speed. When I slow down, the creeking slows.
What do you guys think? Bad wheel bearing or bad axle?

A wheel bearing would be a humm and not a creak.
Try going down a hill very slowly while breaking putting all the load in the front. If it does create the creak noise you may have worn struts. I had the same noise for about 2 years until the struts finally gave.
