Congrats. Can we assume that's miles not kilometers?

Still, you are tempting fate by ignoring your preventative maintenance. Spark plugs, valve adjustment, MT trans fluid changes, coolant changes?

It is miles. It has just started the cutting off when cold thing. Planning the spark plugs and valve adjustment soon. Any plug recommendations? Do you do the coils with them?

Get the OEM Denso or NGK Iridium plugs.

Inspect the coils for arc tracks, if you find anything suspect, replace with OEM Hitachi coils (part # ends in 053).

All these parts are available thru Rock Auto or similar.

I have a 2007 Manual Fit with 150k miles on it. All I've ever done is regular oil changes, 2 transmission fluid changes and an anti-freeze change and my Fit is running fine.

For the spark plugs/valve adjustment suggestion....can I take this to a Honda-centric auto shop and ask them to check it?

I just recently was rear-ended and the auto body shop replaced my rear bumper/absorbers and said the only thing they had to do on the engine was tighten the connectors to my batter as they have loosened over time. So I guess that's good?

My Service History manual has no more room. Our Moon Boot has traveled back and forth to Atlanta, Ga from Columbus, Ga (basically 98 miles one way), 5 days a week from Sept '06 (when we bought it) until April of '14 (when we got a company car). Of course we've been back and forth to Washington, D.C., Florida and a couple of other places that are far away.

It's the original transmission, but the engine was replaced at 239,207 miles (but I am still proud). Transmission fluid at 220,000 and about 30-50,000 miles after. Oil was replaced every month because of the amount of travel we did, so about every 4-5,000 miles. Altenator replaced at 245,000. Spark plugs were replaced at 102,000 and about every 100,000 after with all coils being replaced at 390,000 miles.

She's doing great. I've got to do a tighten on the valves and a regular maintenance on the plugs and the coils and replace the oil pressure switch but other than that, its all good.
