Wet Back Passenger Floorboards

Wet Back Passenger Floorboards
Hello. I am looking to see if anyone could provide some info on why I could be having wet floorboards behind the passenger. It happened to me earlier this month and I figured I left the window open. I soaked up as much water as I could and dried it out. It just rained the other day and now it is soaked again, but I don't know if the rain was the cause. It is winter time and I don't know if running the heat would build up condensation on the ground. I saw something about the A/C line being possibly clogged or pinched but I don't know if that deals with heat too.
Also if it is because of rain, is there an easy way to determine where it is coming from? I want to try not to go to the dealer and spend a lot of $$$ if i can do it myself. Thank you!

If no water is present in spare tire well, the inner door plastic shields have to be removed, cleaned and re-glued.
If water is present, 2 tiny cracks below roof molding stripes should be sealed
BTW, any update on your older post about check engine light??

yep, I'm guessing the plastic liners inside the rear doors have been compromised. They need to be taped/sealed back up by taking off the plastic inner door panel. The water is coming down the window and depositing on to your floor. Sorry.

i also had this issue along with pool of water in my spare wheel well. i was looking at where others were sayiing the issue was and, no luck. so the source of my problem is: when you lift up the hatch, theres a gap between the tail lights and the body. this is where the water was getting in. i sealed it with some glue and huzzah! no more leaks.
