2007 Honda Fit issue
Not sure where to post this, so forgive me!
New Honda Fit owner, mine is a 2007 I just bought it last Oct. It felt like it was missing when I bought it so I took it to my mechanic and had him replace plugs and wires so at least I knew when that was done.
It thought that the problem subsided for a while but it has returned. It only does it when the car is in drive and I am sitting at stop light. It does not do it while car is driving and I have not noticed it when car was in park.
Took it to my mechanic and he said he can feel it doing it but it does not throw any code so he is stumped as to what it could be.
Not sure but after reading several posts, could this be a coil problem?
Thank in advance for your help

The short answer is yes. When my #4 coil failed the symptoms were exactly like that. Replace 3 and 4 coil at first; also check the old coils for combustion leaks past the plug threads ("rusty dust" on the plastic/rubber). This can happen when the old plugs were in for long time and the polug gasket sealing surface is pitted/dirty

RockAuto self the factory hitachi coils, replace them as a set its not worth fooling with..
BTW there are no spark plug wires on a fit.
If your over 80K miles your due for plugs, valve adjustment, coil packs do them all together and the engine runs like a timex..

My Fit is at 158k, I just bought it last week. It seems to have similar symptoms though no cel. Just nasty jerk/hesitate between 2500-3500 which is hwy speed but it does it every gear. No clue on spark plugs or o2 but coils look new. It didn't jerk during test drive and I've only put 100 miles on it.
