Anyone recognise this noise ???
Noise doesn't increase with revs or speed and stops above 3000 revs and is still there when you dip the clutch, had the heat shead of tonight as I thought it was that but it wasn't. Any ideas please.https://youtu.be/JuF8CemqEUg sorry not sure how to put the link.

Where is the sound resonating from? I can't tell from your video. The screwdriver stethoscope idea will help you to find the source.
I had an EG civic which developed a similar sound back in the late 90's. What turned out to be the problem on my civic was that the OEM exhaust pipe had rotted out on the inside and broke off/was rolling around inside the outer "shell" exhaust pipe. (Picture a pencil rolling around inside a toilet paper roll, I can't seem to describe this any better, sorry)
I ended up drilling holes in the bottom of the exhaust, and using my mig welder to fill them back up and secure the rattling piece inside lol. Oh to be broke in high school again.
Find out where the sound is coming from and let us know
Maybe it's......
broken heat shield?
broken exhaust rubber?
faulty belt tensioner?
broken/loose rocker arm?
broken engine mount causing vibration/clearance issues?
loose fuel/brake line clamps?
loose accessory on engine?
dusted engine?
It could be anything.
More information will help us help you

its just the notorious heat shield over the exhaust manifold in the back of the engine. Pull on it when the engine is cold and you will see that there is a lot of play at the nut holding it down. I had to shove a "C" washer underneath the nut to take up the excess room to stop the rattle. It is notorious with the GD engine. If like all the rest of the GDs which have been on the road forever, you won't be able to undo the nut due to corrosion. You'll have to jam/tap a "C" washer in there.
