91 ford explorer sport. and honestly, despite it being a ford, it's still running with probably 160K on all the parts, except the radiator, which was replaced after some hard off road summertime use - I was the third owner, now my dad uses it instead of our ford econoline since the van gets probably 8 miles per gallon and the instrument cluster doesn't work.
See the aforementioned van in the background...
I won't go into exterior mod details, you can see it - though I did add roof rack lights, and reverse fogs as well, not pictured.
Then came...
84 chevy corvette. Picked it up dirt cheap in mint condition, 115k original miles, stock everything except for edelbrock valve covers and a borla cat back. Loved the sound of this car at idle - and WOT :D
Still have it, though it's in storage. Once I get done with grad school and have a career and life settled, I'll take her back out and finish the job. Dropped in a 350 GM Performance crate motor, but never finished the wiring(it runs and drives, just the gauge cluster was so tempermental after the swap) partly because I moved the florida and funds were low. But damn what a way to turn an already quick car into a much more quick car!
before these I had a 92 buick park avenue (my first car, handed down from my dad) and had a short stint with an oldsmobile, a 93 I think - passed down from my mom while the explorer sat in a body shop all summer after a drunk, un-licensed girl nearly totaled it after she stole a pickup truck and slammed into my car where it was parked outside my house (she then attempted to flee but a neighbor and myself stopped that) Still haven't seen any compensation. She has everything going against her and yet she's fighting, mostly by postponing hearing and taking advantage of the fact that our local courthouse is backed up entirely too long.
I don't think I'll buy anything besides a honda from now on - unless I ever come across an r34 skyline. (which I will )
