GE Light tuning

GE with Automatic gear

1. Reflashing ECU with Piasini when STD

2. Air Filter from Simota

3. Aluminium Pulley

4. Engineering Tec Muffler

5. J's front and rear strut adding more rear X cross bar

6. Adding Oilcooler Gear

I got 17.8 sec for Drag not that much, but I gonna changing Header and some Ignition system including Re-tuning again to get 15-16 sec with Automatic gear.

Need your comments, thanks......

16s, maybe but you have a ways to go. You're leveling off at about 98ps (that 107ps at the vtec transition is an outlier, it's virtually an instantaneous thing and not a good basis for how the car's going to perform), and with the weight and my limited knowledge I'd estimate you can get it down to a low 17 high 16. I'd guess you're trapping in the mid 70s (uhhh that's what, 120km/hr or so). 15 sec times aren't going to happen unless you can sustain over 130ps, or lose a lot of weight. Bench racing don't count for squat though in real life so have fun and good luck.

Still, that's roughly 96 whp on an automatic and that's not too bad.

What a funky design for a muffler!

Do you have a higher resolution picture of the inside of the GE8 ecu? I'd like to know what the Microchip you have the wires hooked into is on the right there.

Still too small to make out what is on the chip. Do you have something that is 1600x1200 or larger? Was the barcode/label on that chip when you pulled the cover off the ECU?

Do you have any hints on how to open the ECU case? It appears to be partially pressed and partially silicone sealed... having a hard time popping it!

It has a Red Silicone Seal, you have to use some spray to release it and have to use your force to open it, too.

What brand/type of spray? Can it be re-sealed properly?
