So, the TC-1 replaces the stock O2 sensor for dyno tuning? What are the two lower lines showing on the graph, and what changes do you expect with tuning?
Sorry for all the questions, but my introduction to engine tuning was during the era of points, condensers, and carburetors, and "data" consisted of reading the changing colors of a spark plug electrode as one experimented with different size jets and needles. Digital tuning of EFI engines is a whole new ballgame for me.

This is a bug, which Ubuntu is designed to fix.
Please visit the Innovate Motorsports website for more information on the LC-1. I welded in a bung just after the flex joint on the stock exhaust to mount my sensor. On an N/A motor we can run 12.0-13.5:1 and still make decent power under load. We are measuring the amount of Air to Fuel in Lambda but converting it to AFR for a more visable curve.
Awesome - I'm really impressed with your progress . . . Should open source reflash possibilities stem from your work, count on a respectable donation from me.

If the chip in the ECU is similar amongst all current 06+ Honda's we could be opening the door for the FIT, Civic, Accord, CR-V, Pilot, Element, S2000 and more.
What information would you need to determine the compatability of the '07 & '08 Fit ECU with what you're working on now? I'm spending my entire upcoming long weekend on misc. Fit projects, I could pull the ECU on my '07 & take a look . . .
if you can yank the ecu from under the hood and pop the cover off and take a high res picture that would be great. At least 1600x1200. Basically once we have a way to actively retrieve the ROM from the 2009 we'll see if the same methods work on the 06,07,08, and 2010 models.
Another quick update. I have managed to secure a K&N CAI and an HKS Hi-Power axle-back for the FIT. I will be installing the CAI first, then comparing datalogs to the originals to see how much the MAF and AFR readings are changed. Then I will add the axle-back to see if anything else changes as well.
I am also working with Epi (creator of EcuEdit) to add support for Honda 29-bit OBDII and extended parameter logging in the program for us. The graphs on the previous pages were generated using his program.
Once we have a kernel built, I should be able to retrieve the ROM and start analyzing it in IDA. If it uses a similar Renesas processor as in the Subaru/Mitsubishi world I should be able to find some maps fairly quickly.
VIN is JHMGE8
ECU Part number is in the first post.
I could use hi-res pictures of the insides of the ECU and help identifying the EEPROM chips used inside ALL model years. I'm pretty sure the 07-08 used a different EEPROM than the 09-10. Either way, we should be able to access both. I could also use help finding the appropriate Data Sheets for the EEPROM once it has been successfully identified.
I have a feeling that the fit could benefit from some leaning out. I datalogged some of my autocross runs (although I still can't get the data off the iPhone, but it's good to review) and it seemed like it was running about a point richer than I would have liked.
Then again, when I tune engines, I don't factor in a "factory margin of error".
whats the deal with you iphone do you have an app for measuring those specs?
Well I got the K&N installed and a brief look at the AFR from driving real quick showed about .50 points richer, meaning a tune would really benefit the car now as WOT fueling is in the mid-11's now! Will try to get some datalogs this weekend.
Here is a quick 2nd gear run with timing and AFR. I added a new parameter called "Calc Load" which is what we've been using for subaru's for a while but this is calculated by taking (MAF * 60) / RPM, the value is then g/rev.
You can see that timing has jumped up a few degrees over the stock airbox runs, from around 19 to 22 which is great. The downside is that it's gulping fuel now which is wasteful. Up top is strange as well as it appears to be knocking, but it could also be the way that the mapping is on the stock ecu.. I'll try to reset the ecu later this weekend and get a fresh log.
Tagged for interest as well.

If its any help a fellow FitFreaker with a GE8 (Lek) said he just had ecu reflashed in Thailand. I don't think he did it himself but he might be able to give us some helpful information from who ever that did it for him.
Here is the thread he mentioned it in...
"I don't want to get to technical, but I had my car's ECU re-flashed, too and I get a lot more power and better MPG."
