This is a list who WANT and WILL BUY the HONDATA Flashpro for the GE8 should it be made. This will show HONDATA the amount of GE8 enthusiasts who want FlashPro and willing to pay for it RIGHT NOW (if it was actually available)

Note: The price seems to be $695 from their website based on all their other FlashPros for other cars.

With the Sprintex SC for the USDM GE8 just made available, ALOT more people will be clamoring for a HONDATA FlashPro!

LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!

RULES:

2.Write your name down (or username) and City (or Country if you are outside USA).
3. Add "Willing to deposit" - for all those who want to pre-order!
4. Spread the word to all your GE8 friends and have them sign-up PERSONALLY if they are truly serious about getting one.

5. This thread should constantly be on top of the ECU discussion so people can always see it and write their name for those who want it!

6. Once 50 REAL people are listed AND Willing to Deposit, this will be sent to HONDATA. Prepare your Credit Cards or PayPal, etc to make a Deposit to Hondata (Hondata should give us the deposit amount we need to pay once they know we are serious about buying and they are willing to make it for us)

HONDATA is based out of Torrance, California. This is the Los Angeles area where I live and will be contacting them personally regarding our collective need for this product! But I need you guys to back back me up with real interest and deposits!! The deposits will be handled by HONDATA, not me!

(Only put your name down if you are 100% sure you will order the FlashPro the minute it is released).

THANKS!!! All these folks are willing to pay-up front and make a deposit? I'll place them on my list, but I need to know who can pay up-front so I can take that to HONDATA and say here are the list of people who have the money now to pre-order from you!

So i just replied to the original thread previously created asking the people to list themselves on this thread who have the money upfront to prepay for it or give a deposit!

I will ask Hondata how they want to go about getting a deposit from us. If all goes well and hopefully they bite, we might giving our deposits in a matter of a few weeks! I'll keep posting here on what they say.

It's better if folks do it themselves as I've written in the rules so its much easier to keep track instead of having one person constantly trying to update the original post. I will just look at the end of the thread and see how many we have so far.

 

Not sure how reliable this figure is from goodcarbadcar.net but if its anywhere near this number, HONDATA should be looking to make us FlashPro!!

If only 1 percent of that is an enthusiast who want a better ECU, that equates to roughly 535 people and if they all want a FlashPro at $700 a pop, thats some serious sales right there. Think if it were a greater percentage of enthusiasts!

HONDATA bring us a FlashPro for our GE8 and watch your sales skyrocket!!!

 

1% is way too high a number for that.

Look at how few members here have bought Hondata for the GD...and people actually used to modify those for 'performance.'

 

Honestly, I would not imagine more than 100 buying and I think even then I am living in a world where there is a midget saying, "boss, da plane, da plane."

Can't wait to see hondata makes something for our GE8.

 

Perhaps you may be right, but who knows until the product is actually released.

Like the saying says "If you build it, they will come" or something like that.

That's why we gotta promote/educate and encourage folks who are interested. If you look at the bigger picture, consumers like us who are willing to put the money down makes the economy better.

So Mike are you going to be on the list as well? If so, place your name down.

Keep this thing alive. Look at what happened with the USDM Sprintex supercharger for GE8. It is now a reality!!! It took a while, but hey it's here! We gotta make our collective voices heard. If enough people shout loud enough (not literally) and have the funds to back up their interest, the company should be more than happy to build it for us.

I'm willing to put the time and effort to get us there, but I need enough people to back me up.

Because a lot of us have already emailed & even posted on their forums, and they said they had no plans as of yet. Don't get me wrong, I will buy... but this thread just seems like a willy nilly shot in the dark, especially when there's another thread.

You make a very good point, but the previous list seems like just interest while this list is giving us confirmation that we have a certain amount of folks who can front the money if it was requested from Hondata. I haven't contacted then yet because I don't just want to be another enthusiast asking the same questions. I want to go there like a business man with a proposition that if they make us the product, they will get a guaranteed amount ordered immediately.

So everyone, keep checking this forum to see where we are at. Keep promoting it and getting others who can front the money if requested and sign up. The sooner we fill the list up, the stronger our case will be that we want this product soon and we have the money to prepay for it now.

Yes, it's up to them in the end if they want to go through with it, but with a big collective group of us throwing our money at them all at once, it will be that much harder to resist us

 

Right now people have just been individually throwing pebbles at Hondata and ignoring us, but if we throw a freaking boulder at them, there's a damn good chance we will get their full attention!!
