Thank you Pordy for answering the question I was about to ask! lol

I also find the stock armrest a bit on the high side, as well as not being wide enough. This center console looks like it will kill two issues in one.

The big one though, is making sure it doesn't sit any higher than the stock armrest.

There are two part numbers from Honda as I have seen. I have not checked into the earlier number but this is what i have seen.

08U89-TK6-110 might be Off Black or Grey
08U89-TK6-112 is Black and looks perfect in my 2013 Sport

Painterguy- thanks- interesting. I wasn't given an option when I ordered mine but I just checked the box and it is the 112 version. I asked someone today and they didn't think the color looked out of place in my '13 Sport (see pict above).

Guys, the leather top of my replacement OEM center console has stretched and thinned out after several years (5) of use. Is this happening to everyone else?

I plan on getting clazzio seats covers black with white stitching to match then center console. I just want my car as close to what it would look like if leather was an option on 2nd gen from the factory.

I'm curious from the guys with manual trans, does this sit low enough to shift while having your arm on the rest? That's the biggest reason that I find the skinny rest attached to my seat pretty much useless. It needs to be wide and low so i can shift without lifting my arm. (Plus its uncomfortably close to my body.)

OEM armrest cover stretching

I have had mine in for a couple years now and my cover is also stretching. It is a cheap vinyl. I am having Katzkins put in this week, after that is done I am going to have it redone in matching leather.

Other than having to buy some specific drill bits (I got them cheap off of ebay) it is an easy install. Mine is very sturdy. If I were to get another fit I would install this immediately. I am a big guy and I need an armrest in the center to be useful.

Be aware that it's not covered with leather, it's some kind of vinyl. Mine deteriorated badly. In retrospect I should have treated it with some kind of preservative. I ended up removing all the loose bits and covering it with black gaffer's tape. Looks better than it sounds.
