I bought this JDM Fit RED Color LED Ambient Lighting few months ago,
too lazy to install it until today...
turn out it is very easy to install:

The Control Module and The LED Unit:



When I bought this, the store desirdevivre forget to include the wiring,
and when I try to claim, they say they had shipped it and blamed Tenso...
but I am pretty sure it was the store since at their store, they do not
mention the wiring included. Some Japanese end user had the same
experience with this problem (from what I read at Japanese forum)...
so I have to buy the wiring separately... Luckily I know the
wiring part number so I order them through Japan Parts:

The Wiring:




The main socket from the wiring, Plug in directly into the fuse box,
and it have a secondary outlet so the original plug that goes into the
fuse box is now connected to this secondary outlet (tail)...
The original plug powered the dome light...:




The lower dashboard cover panel already have the port for the
screw/attachment of both the control unit and the LED unit,



Although for the LED unit, I need to drill so the LED light
can pass through:








Driver side ready:



For Passenger Side, I need to bent the attachment so it fit,
apparently the attachment is design for JDM (Steering on right side), Honda Fit:



Final Result below,
The different between this JDM Fit LED Ambient Lighting compare to
USDM is, there is NO SWITCH for the JDM one,
it is automatically On full power when the door is open,
and it is automatically On but half power (dimmed) when the headlight is on...
While the USDM one have separate switch to turn it on...
plus this one the color is RED and I want this RED color to match
my JDM Mugen Fit RS floor mat which I will install after I am done with
all other modification (don't want the floor mat to get dirty too soon)...

 

I was really disappointed in the domestic ambient kit that it was only tied to the headlights. very cool!
