suspension bars for you GE8 folks

there is a company out of malaysia called ultra racing. they are a really well known their chassis braces. here is the link to their page...
Malaysia Largest Car Performance Parts, STRUT BAR Type, CAR ACCESSORY MALAYSIA, LOWER ARM BAR, Anti ROLL Bar
just read about how they manufacture their braces and you will know that they make quality products. in case the link does not work i will list their product range for the GE8

2pt front upper strut bar
2pt rear upper strut bar
3pt fender braces
2pt floor bar (if you dont know it is like a c-pillar bar but its on the floor)
2pt front lower arm bar
4pt front lower h-brace (can be used along with the lower arm bar)
2pt middle lower bar (it just connects two points in the middle of the car)
2pt c-pillar bar
16mm rear anti sway bar

if you want any of their stuff contact thier US dealer mike barton at kdmcustoms@yahoo.com he was a real cool guy when i enquired about the gd3 product range, the prices he gave me werent that bad the average price for one of their bars was about 145. i dont imagine that the GE8 bars will be any different in price range. all you have to do is send him an email with the product number(s) and name(s) for the part(s) you want and he will send you an email with the price and a shipping estimate. the only thing that sucks is that the parts are coming from malaysia so shipping rates change often and you more than likely have to wait a while to get your stuff.

prices for ultra racing arent too bad.

2pt strut bar is kinda high so i would probably get the tanabe one when it comes out.

the 4pt is $194 shipped which is the one im getting.

also the guy mike replies fast to e-mails which is badass

ultra racing also supplies the front and rear bars

hmm... im in the paradox of a franken fit or a uniform fit...

tanabe here, cusco there, ultra race under... or should it all be the same...

what's the diameter of the cusco rear sway bar?

the 2pt bar is just priced high. i agree with all being the same but i dont want to pay $150 for the 2pt.

all the other buys are good prices and one thing i love about the front and rear strut bars is that there are no flex points

that is the thing that i love about ultra racings bar. there are solid one piece construction which in my mind is way stronger than any bar that is adjustable.

yea i forgot to say that mike replies super super fast. thats one of the things that i loved about dealing with him.

well... that was my next step after i finished my interior work. i just gutted the rear and installed a racing harness. WOOT!!! but im going to put everything on hold until i can get my front end fixed. its pretty muffed up and i know its going to cost me a pretty penny to get it right since i dont want to file an insurance claim.

oh gosh, here it comes. let the flaming begin.

but yes, i am running a harness on the stock seat. i dont intend on using it for any sort of hard racing situations, or for daily driving. i just like how they look. plus it feels a million times better to be stuck to the seat when i hit the twisties.

theres pictures of it here, as well as what happened to my car.
