Snap-In Switch for the three "blanks" left of Steering Wheel??

Has anyone found a source for SPST switches that would snap-in to the three blank locations on the left side of the dashboard under the mirror adjustment cluster?

Please let me know of any sources for these.

Thanks!!

Answered my own question.

Honda parts sells the VSA Off switch that fits that location.

All you have to do is use some Goo Gone or Acetone and wipe off the VSA symbol.

Then just paint on whatever symbol you want.

Part #: 35300-TK6-003 $31.68

Hope that helps someone.

Bernarndi is showing this part # a little less expensive.
Find Honda Parts and Honda Accessories by Car Model - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories
35300-TK6-003 SWITCH ASSY., VSA OFF $20.17

I'm gonna put a JDM coin holder in one of the slots, as one is already take from my VSA button (USDM Fit Sport w/Navi comes with VSA). And maybe an independent fog light switch, if I can get that mod done.

But you have to pay $5+ to ship it.

Just go to the parts counter of the dealer and tell them you don't want to wait for shipping. They usually will cut off 20%+ right then and there.

Whatever is easier...

Not all parts departments are so eager to deal, plus you still have to pay tax.
There are pro's and cons to everything.

I'll keep you in mind!!

As for the switch, I'm wondering whether the VSA switch illumination is passing through a lens that has the symbol painted onto it or is the symbol a light-pipe of plastic in the shape of the symbol that transmits the bulb's light.

If it's the first, then I can just remove the symbol from the lens and stencil my own symbol on. If it's the lightpipe, then I'll remove the bulb, paint black over the whole switch and (in white) paint my own symbol on the switch and leave it non-illuminated.

Either way, it's nice to have a switch that "fits" in that spot nice and snug.

Thanks for the tip Blue Boogers, I'll have to try that and if it doesn't work, I'll use Bernardi. Thanks for the link, FitStir.

BTW, FitStir, could you take a look at your VSA switch and let me know how it's illuminated?

Thanks!!

Hey,

I actually ordered that coin holder from a guy on eBay - it does not fit. The corners are too round, and the size (both height and width) is off.

Does anyone know of maybe a different OEM coin holder like the above, that will fit the 09 Fit? I'm dying to fill up those blanks.

Check with member JDM_DOHC_SiR the first sticky post in this forum, I believe he will know which one will fit exactly, he is the JDM guru!!!

Odyssey's have a separate fog light switch that is the same shape...I'd be willing to bet it is the same size and would fit but cannot say for sure at this time.

Has anyone done any more hunting for switches?

There's the VSA one above.

A mention of one from an Odyssey.

The ThailandDM has a wiper heater switch I found from another thread...

... but don't have the part number for.

There's also a switch in the Interior Illumination accessory package...

... but I don't know if it would be available via an individual part number.

I plan on installing driving lights on my '09 and will either connect them via relay to the brights or more likely choose an OEM switch for completely manual operation.

Cool There also is a fog light switch...

For the Base Fits with Fog Lights...08V31-SMA-0M035-might be easier to hookup with the factory harness...08V31-TK6-10030

some notes about the switches for our Fits

The illumination color is via colored bulb condoms, so color modding can be done rather easily with lighting gels or LEDs.

The VSA switch is more expensive, ~$30 and is a Normally Closed circuit without a "On" bulb indicator (bottom left in pic).

The Foglight and Ambient Light switches are ~$15 and are a Normally Open circuit with a "On" green bulb indicator (bottom right in pic).

So purchase and mod wisely!

I've already done this. I'm a cheapskate so I searched Honda parts fiche for the lowest price across multiple models. Below is the cheapest I found, I think it was from a older Civic. Fits the Fit slot perfectly and the color match is perfect also. Switch marking is "VSA OFF"

35300-SNA-003 I paid only $6.98 at www.G1parts.com
Regular Honda price is only $9.95 if you want to order from your local dealer.
