How to change license plate lights?
Hey guys, im looking to change the license plate lights and am not exactly sure how to change them. Checked the manual and found nothing, also tried a search and found nothing. Do I just have to remove the hatch panel? Wanted to make sure before I go and rip it off.

Its actually pretty easy (even though its a small area to work in.) From the outside pop your hatch and hold it eye level. If you look at the clear plastic cover over the bulb there is a very small arrow on the left side of it and points to the right. All you do is slide the plastic light cover to the right and the cover pops right off (might need some finger strength mine were on there pretty good). Then press the tabs on the clear cover to release the attachment to the base of the bulb. Then of course just pull out the wedge bulb out. Just repeat on the other side.
To get it back it just get it back in the position and it should just snap back in.
Hopefully this helps.

No sorry not yet of the back.
If I remember tonight I will take some pics.
I did take one of the top city lights they are the exact same wedge led though.
They look a little more blue in the pic. I think it was because of the camera. They are closer to a white light in person.

here are my licence plate LED lights on
not the absolute best photo out there, but the main point comes across. my plates were not home the day the photo was taken but are here now. you can also sorta see it in my signature photo. let me know if you'd prefer to see a photo with plates.

Looks pretty good. Looks more blue than I want mine to look but maybe its just the camera. I got my lights coming in from superbrightled's. Ordered 6 of the cool white. 2 for the license plate, 1 for the cargo light, 1 for the dome light, and 2 more for the map lights. Ill take pictures of all of these soon as I get em done.

I replaced my license plate bulbs as well. I wanted roughly the same amount of light output, white in color, with no blue. The bulb type is 194 wedge. I first tried these which were too bright for my tastes and also blew a fuse: 194 Size Car LED Bulb. These would be better up front for the top corners of the headlights (also 194 wedge type bulb).
However these were perfect for me: 194 Size Car LED Bulb
I can upload photos and update this post later tonight, but the links above also have photos of these bulbs in action if you click the tab "Action Shots".

Pinoy: Thanks for adding the pic. I never got a chance to load my pic of my rear end up. Mine looks just like yours. (of course with a license plate though)

No, generally they don't. However, I believe one of my LED's came from the factory with some type of internal polarity issue (Oznium.com gave me a full refund). I believe the only time you need to add anything is if you are replacing one of the blinkers. You really need to be careful here because if you blow this fuse it takes all your tail lights with it....not to mention I could only find a replacement fuse at the Honda dealer.

Pics as promised....
As you can see the color temperature is very white, and the light output is not overwhelming. My goal was to get something that looks as white as the cold cathode tubes that Lexus uses for their license plate bulbs...I am happy with it so far!
