I think I want to throw mine into the ocean and forget I ever had it. The car was setup for tuning, but it produced so much knock that J's had to retard the timing so much that it produced a WHOPPING 106ps. This is 20ps less than when I dropped it off. Now they want to ditch all the Bisi components, they said upon install they didn't trust them and look like cheap Chinese products. I can't comment on that, I just know I have wasted close to $5k in products and having to have the engine tore down and go back to factory Honda parts. Not only that, but will be another MONTH at a minimum. Sorry to rant, but FUCK ME HARDER PLEASE!!!

Unfortunately the Bisi stuff likely is cheap China stuff. That was big news a couple years ago, some dude even took pics of the factory in Taiwan where stuff was thrown together.

On a lighter note, I was able to remove the OEM visors and install the authentic Mugen Visors.

They look nice! Off topic question: what tires and rims are you running on your Fit? They look really cool against the white paint. Did you have to make any adjustments before installing?

Thanks

Wheels are 16x7 +42 SSR Type-F's with a 5mm spacer in the rear, tires are 195-50-16 Continental ContiSportContact 2's

No modification needed at all in terms of camber or fenders

Dipped front grille

Sup dudes,

Today I dipped the front grille of my 13' base.
First time dipping and second time I made some "upgrades" to the fit (LED'd the interior).

Took about 10 mins to remove the grilled and 45 to paint.
Didn't realize how thin this stuff was and was really off put by the color at first.
The more coats, the deeper the color so it's starting to grow on me.

Anyways, just felt like sharing

Do you think 15x7 35mm offset wheels with 195/55R15 would fit without modifications? I would assume so because they're smaller, right?

Yes, that will fit without any issue whatsoever

I know this feeling. It sucks. It's an unfortunate and inevitable part of expensive hobbies.

Thanks guys.

I want to clarify, I'm not blaming Bisi or J's. I can't really put blame on either party, I know Bisi's products are working on other cars in Southeast Asia, so it doesn't make much sense. The knock level was in the several thousands from what Kaz was telling me and the ignition timing was retarded so much that the result was pure crap in the power department.

I want to believe J's knows what they are doing for tuning, I have seen their vehicles first hand out on circuit and they can move quite well. So I really don't know what is going on, just want my damn car back, because this has been a long time and I'm having withdrawals of not getting out on circuit, GT6 can only provide so much satisfaction, hahaha. I'm actually going to miss the Fuji event that I already signed up for, but J's is going to discount the price I still owe them for the amount I paid for Fuji since I can't get a refund.

Oh, i'm sure j's knows what they're doing. Your setup is probably uncharted territory for them, and they were probably as excited as you to see what sort of results would .... uh, result. I know i was excited. Would be nice if they'd let you use one of their cars for track events though, considering how much they charge.
