Am I the only one that didn't have a problem with the retaining screws? I bet the next time I take the rotors off the screws will be rusted on...

Lucky few haha. Mine had never been touched and were the same ones that have been on there since the car had been made. That's a good 6 years of rusting and seizing lol

I always put some antiseize on those screws when I change rotors.

Of course, it doesn't come like this from Honda!

Yep. I ended up destroying mine but I wouldn't be able to reuse them on the s2k rotors anyway haha.

Black housing lights done and just installed

Needs a thorough wash and possibly a buff/wax to follow...

I have a chance to drive my car on freeway today,
after 3 days straight of learning and trying to get the Perfect Alignment...
Finally I can declare I have the Perfect Alignment...
The car track straight and true and feel even more planted at the corner.
I change the Camber from about minus 1.75 to about minus 2.2 now.
I also adjust the Toe In to about 1.8mm TOTAL Toe In for straight line high speed stability and make sure the steering wheel straight... before I was driving with steering wheel slightly to the left AFTER I change to J's Racing Steering wheel, because the gear on the J's Racing Steering Wheel do not match the orientation of the stock steering wheel.

I was at one point try minus 3 camber and the car just drive horrible, and the tire screech at hard cornering and easy to lose traction...
I know some other FitFreak member had their camber at minus 3 and the car drive ok, I guess this must be because my tire is really low profile at 215/40ZR-18...
so when you have less flex on the side wall, the tire really lose contact patch...

As soon as this tire is worn out, I do plan to get 225/35ZR-18 since Michelin Pilot Super Sport is just recently available in this new wider size...

EDIT: I also adjust the front Ohlins 2 click harder (clockwise) and now the ride is bit harder but the car just ...
glued to the contour of the road !

Returned the rental.
Got the airbag recall done.
Put in a new battery. 3rd one in 2.5 years. Why does Honda equip the Fit with such a bad battery?!

I was finally able to get most of the stuff back on the car for one last event before she goes down for version 2.0 which should be completed in a few months.

One picture my brother sent over from someone on a website called Instagram.

Might as well switch to a 51R. It can be done if you take out the battery tray. I use an Optima Yellowtop and it's great.

That sounds like something wrong with your electrical system. Ive had the same stock battery for over 4 years and its still fine to this day. Nothing wrong with the honda batteries.

Red face

I installed splash guard today. Pretty basic, but I've only had my Fit for 24 hours.

Still... You didn't disable the DRLs first?

It's the JDP rear duckbill in carbon fiber. The top is painted black and the underside is still in carbon.

Maybe for the next one I will look into a bigger battery.

How often you drive yours? There are times when I don't drive it for 1-2 weeks and the battery is too weak to start the car. I have 2 other Hondas in the family that can sit for weeks as well, but they have no issues starting right up. It's more likely the physical battery size is the issue rather than my electrical system.
