Haha thanks yea they said LA had the most amount of nice looking builds-- for Wekfest at least. I only scratched the surface with my pictures, the other 350+ were just as nice if not better and the rest of the thousand applicants who weren't able to get in purely because of space/limits.

Nice shots, a lot of clean builds, and good vibes. The garage queens/riveted body flares look a dime a dozen now, but there were also a lot of original builds too!

As for my Fit, I broke 60k miles this weekend. Any suggestions on what maintenance to do? Always felt the service manual was a bit over the top with unnecessary things to do. Figure, Oil/filter, Air filter (enginer/cabin), trans fluid?

Installed my Black Leather/Suede Clazzios with Red Stitch (courtesy of 1SickVeilsideZ), and they're amazing. I can finally check that off the list. Also, added a Low&Slow sticker pics to come

Finally figured out how to use HIM Diagnostic Tools...
Thanks to Jibberjabbs post that the key is setting the USB port to COM1,
and also by randomly lucky and find the correct driver for the included USB to Serial Adapter...
so I just finished getting the ECU to learn the new larger MaxBore Throttle Body

Quality is outstanding. They have a completely different feel than stock. The covers are a little bit loose in some areas but I think as the covers settle that will go away. I've been thinking about Clazzios for years and I'm so glad I finally got them.

bmw, the samco kit looks awesome. I have had them on my other car for like 7 years now and while they are admittingly purely for show, they are still the best fitting parts I have ever gotten.

I was suppose to get my wilwoods installed yesterday but between surgery and a lighting strike on my house (and my race car nearing completion), those are going to have to sit on the shelf for a while.

on the plus side, my bilsteins and 18s have stopped rubbing. I'm pretty sure its just the warmer weather which is fine because I was planning on using 16s off season so that is a relief.

on a completely unrelated note, anyone know who this is... saw him the other day outside of chicago, had a mugen rear bumper.

and I am glad to hear the Bilstein and the 18" are back.

The Wilwood should not take a long time to install though,
most likely about 3 hours including bleeding.
There is a bleeding sequence that you need to follow according to the service manual, let me know if you need this info.

Also if someday you want to change the spring rate on the Bilstein,
please let me know and I can guide you because at one point I was considering it... but of course a higher linear spring rate will not be as comfortable as your current Bilstein Progressive spring.

For that picture above,
I am pretty sure that car drive very very bad...

about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I was adjusting my car alignment myself.
at one point I go to something like close to minus 3 camber,
and the car just drive very bad.
Even with Minus 3 camber, my wheel still look quite vertically straight...
that camber on that car must be at least minus 5 or more...
With the minus 3 camber,
My steering wheel had a funny abrupt change in steering feel and heaviness right after you turn the wheel past certain rotation (during stationary),
and the car won't easily self centered (after cornering),
the tire easily brake traction especially during braking (even with just moderate braking),
when I corner moderately hard, my tire squeal (this is the first time I ever hear my Michelin Pilot Super Sport squeal) and it understeer badly too...

so I dial it back to around minus 2.2 camber, and now the car just drive perfectly at the corner and still maintain very good traction on straight line.

of course The car feel more planted at very high speed going straight at minus 1.8 camber (my original setting) but then when I corner fast at very high speed with minus 1.8 camber, the car don't feel as planted,
that is why I change to minus 2.2 camber.

So the minus 2.2 camber help with cornering feel but just slightly less planted feel going straight at high speed. when I mean high speed I mean somewhere above 90mph (or more) going straight or at least 70mph on the corner.

so I finally settle with minus 2.2 camber but I plan to go back to 225 size tire in the future (currently I am running 215/40/18) because Michelin just launch the Pilot Super Sport in 225/35/18 so I should be fine in term of rubbing.
I hope the 225/35/18 (35 profile) with minus 2.2 camber will give the maximum grip that I had when I was using the OZ Racing wheel with 225/40/18, (40 profile)
which the 40 profile can't not be fit on my current setup due to the 15mm spacer required for my Brembo.

so in summary,
The Honda Fit on the pictures above must be unstable and unsafe to drive at any normal highway speed !!!

I wonder why people would want to have a wheel cambered like that...

Well, I am an Engineer and maybe that is why I will never understand about the "ART" of driving with so much camber like that

note: and that guy must have intentionally BENT the rear axle in order to achieve that camber on the rear because our rear axle do not have any camber adjustment... and a bent rear axle will change the way the rear axle flex (in a bad way)
(yes our rear axle still flex even it look like a solid rear axle),...... or he might re weld the rear hub... but then I don't think it will have the precision of the factory weld...
