Got rear-ended. Hadn't even made the first payment on my Fit.

I'm guessing it's likely totaled. The hatch and passenger rear door won't open. The tail light was pushed nearly in to the trunk, all that framing is bent. The bumper mount is bent. The quarter panel metal is folded completely in to the wheel. Not sure I want it back if they have to fix it as bad as the damage is...

Wow you didn't even get to make your 1st thread on how slow the Fit is and what can you do to make more power...

On a serious note that sucks, hopefully your not injured and it works out in your favor.

I'm a bit beat up and bruised, but fine otherwise.

I knew going in that I would either need to chip or turbo the Fit to get more power, and I was waiting to do either.

I've already started scouring the webs for a new Fit, but I've only found one manual in a 200 mile radius. I love my manual cars, dangit. Oh well, this gives me a chance to maybe find a Blue Raspberry Metallic one instead of the Red, though the Milano was growing on me in a serious way.

I'm also worried about being out the $330 I just spent on tint and hood wrap, since I literally just had it done. Blech.

xD
Driving to VA to get a car is out of the cards, unfortunately. I'll likely have to go back through financing too. Not sure how all this is going to play out.

Damn that really sucks about your "new" car Fireblade.

I agree finding a manual was like finding a unicorn. I really wanted tafetta white but found my Milano red and it was my 3rd choice colorwise so it wasn't too bad.

I do know someone in West Virginia planning to sell his 2013 TW fit in manual with low miles soon. WV is a little closer to you haha.

My wife has a tafetta white Civic, and as much as I like the white/black/red look, I don't like taking care of the white paint. My number 1 tie is either another Milano Red or a Blue Raspberry Metallic, second is the regular blue, 3rd is a tie between black and white, last is the Blackberry Pearl.

Yeah Orange burst was my 2nd choice! But nothing but automatics around here. Maybe I should've driven an automatic just to know whether it would've been tolerable or not....nah

Yeah I had just claybarred/waxed it That's my dad's fit, we also have a black '11 base that belongs to my sister. That's our secondary parking area, it looks like he's hitting the shrub but he's actually behind it.
