have they announced the price for the sets? here in KL got some shops selling it at almost RM4000 (USD1= RM3.40) that's quite competetive

You can buy both Mugen and Modulo suspension for the GE from Toon Motorsport in Bangkok for 37,000 Thai Baht thats about $1,050 US. TOON MOTORSPORT Quality matched springs and dampers, but expensive.

I like that they come full assembled up front and with the stronger bolts. Nice touch.
Anyone know the stock spring rates so we can compare?
edit: nevermind I found them. 1.7 Front, 2.0 Rear

I can tell you now that the Mugen front struts are very firm, but go well with the springs which are a little stiffer than stock with a 20mm drop. The Modulo are a little softer than Mugen with a 25mm drop.
Many people say that the Modulo are better for average city street driving.

I just thought I'd let everyone know how I'm doing with it.
I've put over 10k miles since the install, and I love every minute of it. I drove my father's GE8 Sport, and I like mine a lot better, even with the winter tires on it. Other people who have driven Gustave really like the way he responds. It's such a nice ride, without sacrificing handling. I feel confident that this suspension will probably last the rest of the life of the car, or at least as long as stock suspension components would last. By the time these die, I'll probably have another set waiting. That's how much I like the feel.
Also, I finally got around to taking a picture of the brake lines and the brake line mounts. Enjoy:

no, springs dont sit on ge shocks very well, and the rear lower shock bushing is too wide for the ge, by only 2-3 mm so a little grinding and it will work, im running gd suspension on my ge

Hey I know i'm reviving this old thread but I was searching through google and found this thread. So how will the GE shocks/struts fit on the gd3?
Can someone chime input?
Since it's longer, it would raise the gd3 right? If I wanted to have a budget rally setup, I'm thinking of putting the GE suspension for the lift.
Input and experience is appreciated!

reviving this, because I used the "search" button =)
questions:
-other than zip ties, has anyone found a more solid means of holding down brake lines?
-are we re using oem ge end links, or are we going with shorter gd end links?
-how are we doing on longevity .... any blown suspension stories?
thanks in advance everyone!!!

Zipties are okay for mounting brake lines. I've done that multiple times in the past.
Longevity should be fine, these are OEM style Showa dampers with matched springs & a minimal drop, though the spring rates will likely be a bit high on a GK.
No idea on end links.
