I received an email today from Honda whom have released an updated Navigation DVD for the 2009 Honda Fit ($185USD), I believe it's been out a couple months now, and only has updates for a limited area, but does anyone know of a current/active torrent or other link to download this? (for educational purposes of course) Or whenever someone acquires this DVD can you please upload it to a torrent site and share the link with us? There are a few torrent sites already to claiming to have this available, but either there are no seeds, the links are dead, or it's spyware. Let us know, Thanks!

NAVTEQ - Maps for your Honda Navigation System

 

I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe even if you have a successful burned DL map disc it would be able to work on the Navi unit because the retail version burner burn DL disc on the first layer inside out and the second layer outside in. Where as the commercial burner can do it either way and they burn the Navi disc in the complete opposite which is making the first layer outside in and the second layer inside out. The Navi unit are set to read the disc the way they where commercially burned. Which is reading the first layer from the outside, since you burned on retail burner it would try to read the outside first but in fact is actually the end which would give it an error reading. It is a form of simple disc protection. Not all car including Honda uses this type of disc protection but the ones that works are few.
