I am living in Mexico with my U.S. model 2009 Honda Fit. At 25,000 miles I have my first ever problem with the car. The Check Engine light is on, along with the stability control light, and the transmission seems confused about which gear to use when accelerating. Most likely a sensor problem, possibly VSS, maybe a wheel speed sensor for the ABS.

The nearest Honda dealer will be in Guadalajara, about 50 miles away. Can anyone tell me how to find such a dealer? My internet search fu seems weak today, I can't seem to locate one.

Does my warranty on this U.S. model Honda cover repairs in Mexico?
