2010 fit + ipod nano 6g compatibility

i've had my 2010 fit sport for a while now and have been using my ipod nano (5th gen) plugged in to the glove box dock. all has been well. i recently upgraded to the new 6th gen nano (the tiny touchscreen one) and have started having problems. the first time i hooked it up it worked fine. after that, it won't work. it says it's connected (on the dash and on the ipod) and i'm able to scroll through and make selections (the ipod will follow along with any selections i make on the dash controls), but then it won't play. it will just show the song that i've selected and not play.
is this an issue of compatibility? i've heard of others having issues with certain ipods not docking correctly, but nothing specifically about the 6th gen nano so i thought i'd ask.
fortunately for me, it actually sounds pretty good through the 1/8" aux in jack.

thanks.

I, too have the new nano touch screen and am using it in my 2010 Fit Sport. It worked fine for a couple of weeks, then I started having the same problem. The nano said it was working, the display in the Fit said it was playing, but there was no sound coming out of it. I took the nano back to Target and they gave me another one. I have been using it for about a month and it just started doing the same thing 2 days ago. I am taking my car in to the dealer and see if it is the Fit that is doing it. I'll post if I can get an answer from Honda on this. It's very aggravating......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i should have posted this earlier, but i fixed it. i read that some others had the same problem with other ipods and it was fixed with a hard reboot. sure enough, it works for the nano 6g as well.
