Issue with Recirculating lever

Just noticed this am that my "recirculating lever" would not move from fresh air to recirc, when the car was moving. Once I arrived at destination, it moved freely. Any suggestions??

huh, werd. maybe it was just stuck? did you recently have a stereo installed? if so, (im not 100% sure on the GE's) but on the GD i had to undo 3 cables going to the hvac including that lever you speak of to remove/install the deck.

Apparently for some reason your deflector door is penned by the incoming air. I can see it at high speed but not usual speeds. You might check the linkages to make sure its not bent.

It happened to me only in the winter. Water gets into cable and freeze up the cable. The ice melt after I drive for awhile. The I can move the level freely.

There really isn't any conection to that cable and the car moving. There is a possibility the cable isn't adjusted correctly. By dropping the glove box you can see the cable end and the air box control. Moving the control will ID it.
