fuse box

Hey!..... I was changing the light bulb of the hood of my car and suddenly it did a little spark so i didn't do anything and i left it like that ... then wen i turn the ignition on i realized that the radio doesn't work..... after that the car WITHOUT THE KEYS neither the lights and the lock work !!! somebody told me that it was a problem with the fuses so i check all the fuses under the steering wheel and all of them seemed to work correctly so I asked again to the mechanic and he said that probably it was a problem with he accessories fuse .... could anybody help me!

Look at under dash fuse box. I think either fuse #2 or #3. It happened to me before. Don't worry.

It is the 10 AMP fuse under the top left orange thing. Trust me I have blown that one with the same problems you are having.

To the right of the 2 red 10 amps ones at the bottom right is the fuse puller.

my fuse box looks totally different than that, but i'm having the same issues. it's pretty annoying not having a radio or keyless entry/power locks.

any ideas? i checked a bunch of fuses, but they all seem to be fine.

It's called the "dome" light. And you definitely have blown a fuse.

wow, that's dumb, or i'm dumb. on my fuse diagram that fuse is boxed in bolded and says "back-up", which i thought meant it's an extra fuse just in case something blows... duh!

all up and running. thanks man, that thread was perfect. +rep

Google led me to this thread and wow, 'Backup' in the #1 slot on my 09 Fit is totally mislabeled, not to mention there's another one under that a few slots later labeld "backup lights". Anyway I had the same symptoms and this fuse was responsible for it, I think it's because it's one of the only ways the vehicle gets power when key & everything is off, so if you accidentally short somewhere this one gets blown.

Literally the exact same thing happened to me. The fuse that blew is actually not under the steering wheel but under the hood in the upper right corner underneath a cover. The one that blew for me was the second one from the left. Just as a heads up, its a small strip under a cover that I would have never known was there unless I did some messing around.

Good tip as "some people" have been saying the Fit GE doesn't have an underhood fuse box.
