Fitting a Tandem bike inside the fit without removing the rear wheel

Hi Guys,
I am going to be buying a tandem and saw this post:

Tandem in Honda Fit

So this guy could carry a tandem with a rear rack and the wheel on by folding the front seat flat (it was on a GD).

I was trying to see if i could pull my front seat all the way and pull the back support down but there is a significant bump.

I was wondering if any of you have tried this and how to does one get to fold the seat flat as they showed in some pics where they had a surf board in there.

Thanks,
Ravi

Are you trying to do the same thing as the GD? If so, it's not possible with the GE. The GD had it setup where you could do "refresh mode" with the seats which would allow you to fold the front seat back completely flat. The GE lost that feature. You'll probably have to be a bit more creative with the GE than the GD.
