im new here, cargo cover question
#21
I owned a 2010 that had the cargo cover with the flap that snapped on the back of the seats.
I just bought a cargo cover for my new 2016 Honda Fit.
The flap is gone, and you don't have to punch through the back of your seats to install snaps.
BUT unless you recline the back seats...you do have a gap. This gap was covered regardless of back seat angle, with the cloth flap.
I know people did not like installing the snaps. But I like the idea of gap coverage, regardless of back seat position.
A little disappointed that Honda did not continue the flap/snap solution, or simply hasn't come up with a better complete design.
I like my rear cargo cover, but really? if you don't recline the back-seats, there is a really unacceptable gap. Honda DID have a workable solution for this reality, but evidently now, if you don't want the gap? You better like your back seats reclined.

That's a shame. I have a 2010 Fit and had the cargo cover installed after buying it used. Undoing the snaps to fold the rear seats down is a bit tedious, but I also think it's worth it to have the entire cargo area covered.
Never know when someone might go the extra mile to try to see what's in the back or try to get in. imo, Having that full coverage could deter people from trying to take something out of the back even if they break a window or something.
