Unhappy Rear clunking noise after lots of weight in the rear (swift springs).

Yesterday, I went to get my wheels and I loaded them in the trunk. I was going down on the highway with a lot of weight in the rear, going over uneven pavement, etc.. and all of a sudden this weird clunking noise has started! everytime I drive over a bump or uneven surface a weird clunking rattling noise is made. I am thinking it's the rear sway link bar ends? I just need to tighten it but it also sounds like my strut is making some sort of air noise or something. I definitely don't think I blew my struts with swifts and I'm at 45k miles. Can someone give me some advice as to what to check. I looked under and everything looks okay. I am super worried lol..

I've been driving a Fit for about a day :-) but ran into the same issue. I think it's just the jack clanging against the spare tire. Take a look at the spare in the trunk and see if that's causing the issue. (I wrapped it in an old towel to eliminate the clanking).

My Swifts make a little squeak on big bumps, but I don't usually haul...probably doesn't help

I'd check the seats and make sure the rubber hasn't slipped off. O_o

Seats of the springs? The rubber stops at the end? They seem on and ok to me, it's like a weird rattle that sounds like it's inside but I believe it's from the outside wheel when I go in neighborhoods, etc. I'll check everything in the morning! Thx.

Does your jack just sit inside the spare? There should be a lip that the jack sits under on the rear of the car inside the hatch. Just raise the jack till it is flush with that lip. I really cannot imagine that too was left off the models there.

Good luck Pandayun in finding and eliminating the noise. Sounds to me as the spring is not seated properly. How heavy are your wheels?

I'd take a look at the upper shock mount and make sure it isn't loose if the jack isn't the cause.

I am so sorry guys, it was my canibeat license plate frame making noise lack of two bottom screws. No idea why it started making noise now... I feel like such a troll on these forums. I get too paranoid with doing all these mods myself, all is good! Yay!
