Could it be they are advertising to and getting drivers that will use stability control to the max? Anybody that looks at a Honda and compares shape even without an engineering degree it immediately jumps out as not the number one choice for stability, maybe a hair better than what Ford did with the explorer.

Tried putting in my VIN# did not come up will wait until May when they mail out the notice. Wonder if they offer different tires on the Sport seems to indicate certain tires on the notice?

meh, i dont care. i turn off vsa in the snow driving cause it distrupts my driving to much. the only time i use vsa is when im going over an icy bridge or areas prone to black ice.
i wish the update was for us to turn off vsa without tpms. then, i would get this done. until then, forget it.

Last week friday got card from dealer, called and made appointment for today(Monday), after getting home had the official from Honda letter announcing recall.
A side note, dealer also did a customer requested battery check(I didn't request) but it was no charge on the no charge invoice for the the recall.
If only all transactions with dealers could go so smooth, Ford waited 6 months and when car was taken in they couldn't do more than pull bad part, another 3 months before part came in, requiring a second visit, and then tried to sell me unneeded flushes and brake repairs.

"tilt" too far? Or swerve/veer?
Cause when I think of tilt, I think of like tipping over. At which point, VSA is gonna do very little when you've only got two of the four tires on the ground.
The PDF talks about yaw, which is basically left/right turning (I would consider tilt as "roll"). Which is most likely talking about over steer in a turn, since that's part of what VSA is supposed to prevent. Though I wonder if they include under steering.
Which is probably the crappy tires giving out in a turn.

The owner's web site does not indicate that my VIN is subject to the recall and I have not received a notification from the dealer. And my original tires and wheels are long gone. The most important aspect of VSA to me is that I continue to be able to disable it for performance driving situations.
edit: Famous last words - I received the notice in the mail today. Leave the car with the dealer for half a day!?! Sheesh..

I installed TPMS sensors in my new wheels ($100 from hondapartscheap.com) and Big O initialized them for me for free, so no biggie there.
