09 Fit Sport Power Window

09 Fit Sport Power Window
Our 2009 Fit Sport has been a good car and we have now had our first repair in 5 years and 64K miles of ownership.
It has been a great car but I'm a little ticked at having to replace the front passenger window regulator and motor.
Having owned six Chrysler products with power windows over a span of 22 years I never, ever had to replace or repair any power windows. Can't say the same for a old GM company car though.
Has anyone else had to replace any window regulator and motor on their 2nd Gen Fit?

anecdotal accounts here haven't indicated any problem with the windows. Door locks are another story.
Having owned 6 chrysler products over 22 years your standards should be lower.... (gratuitous chrysler knock).

Yea I just replaced my 2011 w/32k passengers front regulator too. A bolt came loose (found it in the door). The bracket bent and the cable slipped off the spool, destroying it. Thread-lock, Honda, use it! Of course dealer would not help. Dealer price $320 , eBay aftermarket $70.

If it happens to any of the other 3 windows, I'll do it myself also
Honda Dealer
Troubleshoot and diagnose........... $57.00
Two day wait on part
Right front window regulator........$368.80
Labor......................................$142.50
Sales tax (part)..........................$19.55
Total.......................................$587.85*
* Plus I have to take it back to have the technician refit the switch panel which was slapped back together without proper alignment. (yeah, I could do it but I paid them to do it)
Would rather have used the money on Swift springs and struts!

window trouble as well
I have a 2010 honda fit and purchased it used from the dealer but I have had issues with my driver side window. when i use the auto window to go down it will go down about half way then back up on its own. Bummed me out that this is happening. Took it to the dealership and they said they could just "re-program"....idk if that was BS or legit but a week after i got the car back it happened again.
