All mixed driving - I would say 50/50 city/hwy. Averaged on 1 tank - counted at same gas station, same pump, stopped after 2nd click. So I'm relatively sure it's exact with error of up to 0.3-0.5l or so (maybe even less than that). It's all done during last week. A/c was on when needed to defog. No fuel saving techniques used - just drove regularly as I normally do (keeping up with traffic with occasional sprints when I feel like it). So I would say not bad at all.
P.S. Computer is wrong by 13.5% showing 40.6MPG (too optimistic), while real MPG was 35-36MPG. I think if I fuel up with Super or Plus - I might get better MPG and possibly computer may give closer to real world numbers. Not sure.

After 29 fill ups (since I bought the car new in 2013) using the same technique for fill point; I averaged 49.8mpg (imperial gallon). I don't rely on the onboard computer calculations; I do math calculations the old way. This is a mix of driving city/highway. But my city driving is in a small town.
I'm very happy with the results. Love the little car.
