Connecting an underseat sub from internal power wiring

Hi guys,

I need some advice. I happy with the sound and quality of the stock HU but my speakers are lacking depth. I have 2x stock in the front doors, 2x sony 150w in the rear, but i only get any warmth from them if i crank them up. Im thinking a small underseat sub will give me some more depth - im not looking for bone shaking, can be heard from 2 miles away "boom", just a bit more thump on the lows.

Now to the actual question> is there a way to power a amped sub without running a cable directly to the battery? Can i splice off of a cable somewhere else, say like the power cable from radio itself? Im not a complete idiot when it comes to standard electrics and connections, but something about running a cable through the firewall and attaching it to the battery scares me stupid.

The sub im looking at is a raveland fs8
Breedte: 230 mm
Frequentiebereik: 40 ‑ 200 Hz
Geluidsniveau: 112 dB
Hoogte: 80 mm
Kleur: Zwart
Impedantie: 4 Ω
Belastbaarheid RMS: 200 W
Diepte: 340 mm
Gewicht: 3.6 kg
Belastbaarheid muziek (max.): 600 W
Categorie: Auto‑subwoofer actief

Or am i looking in the wrong direction? Is there a way to hook up a passive sub ditectly from the existing (rear?) speakers? Would this be a better option fr me?

Thanks for any advice.
